  Dr. Adrian’s first experience with Reiki was in 2013 at the tail end of a meditation retreat, where she was attempting to deal with burnout. She was completely astounded by the results of just one session, feeling more relaxed, happy, and connected than she could ever remember. She immediately decided to learn to practice so she could give herself daily sessions and was attuned a few short months later (on May the Fourth be with you day, haha!).

Once attuned to practice Reiki (and pretty sure she had become a Jedi) Dr. Adrian knew she couldn’t keep the light and love of Reiki to herself. She began offering sessions to friends, who then referred her to their friends, and eventually she was offered the opportunity to give Reiki as an add-on to acupuncture treatments in a local clinic.

As her relationship with Reiki grew, Dr. Adrian’s intuitive gifts began to blossom. Within six months of working with Reiki she was able to intuitively “see” auras, or bioenergetic fields, as well as the energy centers known as chakras. To better understand her gifts, Dr. Adrian dove into researching the energetic body, from both Eastern traditions and Western science, which prompted her to begin grad school.

Dr. Adrian became a Holy Fire Reiki Master in January of 2014, as a member of the very first Holy Fire class to be taught by William Rand of the ICRT (International Center for Reiki Training). As the years have gone by, Dr. Adrian’s practice and education have expanded, leading her to develop several of her own Reiki centered courses and publish multiple books on the subject. 

She officially left her corporate career behind in 2018 and has maintained a private wellness practice ever since. Her passion truly lays in sharing the gift of Reiki with others, believing wholeheartedly that Reiki is Love and Love is what the world needs more of, now and every single day.

Whether working one-on-one or learning with a group, Dr. Adrian offers a relaxed and encouraging teaching style that combines education, demonstration, and practice sessions so you can feel confident as you develop your Reiki Practice for yourself and others.

In addition to teaching, Dr. Adrian offers mentoring for Reiki Practitioners looking to grow their practice personally or as a business, as well as mentoring for Reiki Masters who would like to teach but lack the experience.
